Worshipping our Heavenly Father is what we were created for, so praise and worship have a high priority in our gatherings at the Church of Glad Tidings. Our goal is to offer God worship that delights his heart, so rather than simply singing a song, we endeavor to offer him songs from hearts of faith filled with celebration, contemplation and thanksgiving. Our earnest hope and expectation is that we will experience the presence of God in the midst of our worship, since He has promised us that He is “enthroned in the praises of his people” Psalms 22:3.
Let’s not simply relegate worship to a weekend gathering; it’s meant to be a lifestyle. According to 1 Peter 2:9, we “are a chosen people… a people belonging to God, that we may declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light.” In other words, as our lives are an offering of worship, we show God’s unfailing love to this lost and dying generation. So, come; worship with us. Come; enter His Presence with us. Come; be refreshed by pushing aside daily cares and focusing your affections on God through worship.
