Find a need and meet it, find a hurt and heal it.” Hope for the Heart was founded to be Jesus’ hands and heart extended to the homeless, needy, and survivors of crisis situations in our community. We shine the light of Christ's love to our community while distributing food and clothing on Wednesdays and Fridays. We welcome anyone who would love to come and serve at the warehouse or to the homeless.

“We are seeking individuals passionate about food (making food, not just eating it)!!! Whether you're skilled in culinary arts or eager to lend a helping hand in serving meals, your participation will greatly contribute to our current and upcoming projects. Together, let's make a difference, one meal at a time!”

Freedom Coalition:

(See freedomco.net) Be salt and light by embracing our civic responsibility. Work on election integrity projects, attend and speak at board meetings (school, supervisors, city council), monitor meeting agendas for key topics, assist on political campaigns, address the current issues of the day. Freedomco activists meet on the first and third Wednesdays 5:30-7:00 pm at the Glad Tidings Campus.

Embassy Greens: 🍇 🍉 🍑 🥝 🍒

“And when I multiplied food to feed over four thousand, how many large baskets full of leftovers did you gather afterwards?”.  The tides are changing and we need to be ready for the harvest!  Come and volunteer from crop box, greenhouse at Embassy Gardens.

Café: ☕︎

GT’s newly remodeled cafe is just the place to enjoy great fellowship and food. Free coffee and sweets to savor as well as specialty coffees and more.  A comfortable and inviting place on campus where you can build new friendships, grow and deepen existing ones and be part of building a strong rich community. We will keep the coffee brewing! Come and join the team!

Guest Connection:

Guest Connection booth is open after each service to offer a warm welcome, answer any questions, offer a Café coupon, invite them to fill out a guest connection card and pray with them for any immediate needs that they may have.

Entertaining Angels:

Do not forget or neglect or refuse to extend hospitality to strangers [in the brotherhood—being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. Heb. 13:2.

Communion:

Set up and clean up communion elements before the weekend services and occasionally at special events and conferences. A once-a-month commitment.

Greeters:

Make every person who walks through the door feel welcomed and loved. Hand out bulletins and greet everyone who walks in. Friendliness required.

Proved safety and service to support the pastoral ministry team, keep children safe, and prepare the building for services and events while being attentive to any issues or needs to ensure a smoothly run service.

Content Creators Needed!

We’re seeking creative individuals to capture, create, and share engaging content through photography, videography, and design. Your work will help spread the message of faith and inspire others.

📸 Photography – Capture powerful moments from services, events, and ministries.
🎥 Videography – Record and produce videos that tell the stories of what God is doing.
🎨 Graphic Design – Create compelling visuals for social media, events, and promotions.

Skilled Musicians: 🎶

We are seeking skilled musicians for various roles including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drummers, and keyboard players. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of their instrument and be capable of reading charts. We will hold an audition in the near future for those who register.

Creative Light Theater:  

Creative Light Theater exists to provide a forum for the talents of writers, actors and technicians who want to use their talents to honor God by bringing life affirming dramas to the stage. Through the exercise of music, dance, comedy and drama, biblical stories, historical stories and original plays have developed over the years. This ministry produces wonderful productions written and directed by Leslie Greenetz to help spread the love of Christ throughout our community.

DELIVERANCE :

A place for every child (0-10) to be raised up In the truth and in a personal relationship with Jesus while equipping them in the power of the Holy Spirit. One weekend a month be Jesus’ hands and feet to the children.

EMBASSY CONFERENCE AND EVENT TEAM:

We are forming an Embassy Conference Team and we welcome you to join us as volunteers to come alongside our admin team here at GT to help make each event the best possible experience for everyone attending.  We'd love for you to share your gifts and talents with us, please check out the list below and see where you can help fill a need!

Set Up/Tear Down 

Can include the following items, but is not limited to:

  • Chair set up or removal

  •  Event specific items (for example, bounce houses for the 4th July)

Clean Up

Can include the following items but is not limited to:

  • Remove trash

  • Clean bathrooms

  • Restock paper products

  • Clean up trash in main event specific areas

  • Spot mop

  • Clean front entrance doors

  • Kitchen cleanup

 Event Specific Deep Cleaning Needs

  • Deep cleaning a room or bathroom that may not be used often or repurposed for an event (for example, the dance room)

 Janitorial duties (During Event)

  • Refill paper products

  • Remove trash in main event spaces & bathrooms

  • Wipe down mirrors in bathrooms

  • Fingerprints on doors (for multi day event)

  • Vacuum (for multi day event)

Parking Lot Attendants

  • Facilitate safe parking and departure procedures 

  • Patrol parking lot as needed

Registration Table

  • Facilitate check in of event attendees at start of event and throughout event as needed, scan barcodes, take money

Product Tables

  • Place product, answer questions, check using an iPad or cash 

Hospitality Room

  • Can include but not limited to:

  • Shopping

  •  Food & Drink Prep

  • Meal set up, tear down, clean up

  • Coffee, tea, water set up (refresh for multi-day event)

Decor

  • Create table centerpieces for hospitality meals or event meals ranging (can range from 3 centerpieces to 40 depending on event 

  • Christmas decor for building lobbies.

 Volunteer Meals

  •  Can include but not limited to:

  •  Meal planning

  •  Shopping

  •  Room Set up & tear down

  •  Clean up (restock for multi day event)

 Communion for Events (Not weekend services)

 Live Stream & Event Email Support

  • Monitor event email and help attendees who may be experiencing difficulty watching livestream or answering event related questions throughout an event.

  •  Each Isaiah 61

  •  Hole punch each manual 

  •  Collate & bind using GT machine
