Worship Team

The Worship Ministry at Church of Glad Tidings exists to glorify Jesus Christ and lead the church into deep, Spirit-filled worship. Our heart is not just to sing songs or play music, but to create space where people can encounter the presence of God, respond to His love, and be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe worship flows best out of authentic relationships. Our worship teams are built on unity, humility, and genuine care for one another—growing together as family, praying together, and encouraging one another both on and off the platform. As we pursue healthy relationships, we also pursue excellence in worship, knowing that preparation and discipline are also acts of worship to the Lord.

At the center of everything we do is Jesus. Our songs, our service, and our lives are focused on exalting Him alone. We desire to lead worship that is passionate, reverent, and Holy Spirit-led—inviting the congregation into wholehearted praise, surrender, and intimacy with Christ.

The Worship Ministry at Glad Tidings is more than a team—it’s a community of believers united in love for Jesus, committed to serving His church, and devoted to cultivating an atmosphere where Heaven meets earth through worship.

  5. Charisma

CHARACTER
Is this person Christ-centered—seeking to honor God with their whole life, not just their time on stage? Do they walk in humility and carry a servant’s heart? Are they committed to GT as their home church and aligned with its mission? Do they love the global Church and demonstrate a growing knowledge and application of God’s Word?

CRAFT
We value individuals who are committed to continually developing their musical skill. We aim to offer our very best to God and to His people. Team members should be flexible, adaptable, and attentive—listening to those around them and contributing to a unified sound. We’re looking for musicians and vocalists who prioritize blending and collaboration over individual expression.

COACHABILITY
A worship team member must be able to receive direction with humility for the benefit of the whole team. This is not a place for ego, but for teachable, skilled individuals who are willing to grow, adjust, and serve alongside others.

CHEMISTRY
Does this person connect well with the existing team? Do they align with the vision and sound we are cultivating? Strong relationships matter—we’re building a team that enjoys serving together, communicates well, and steers clear of unnecessary drama.

CHARISMA
Every person on stage carries the responsibility of leadership. Worship team members should help lead the congregation into engaging with Jesus. This requires a level of confidence and presence. If someone is not comfortable in that role, there are many other meaningful ways to serve. On this team, we are all worship leaders.
