Peace of Heaven

Here at Church of Glad Tidings, we have a heart to help those who have been disenfranchised, abused or poorly treated. For over 40 years, we have worked hard investing our time, our energy and our money into meeting urgent needs both locally and abroad. That truly is God’s heart for each of us and has inspired us to embrace the ministry motto: “Find a Need and MEET IT! Find a Hurt and HEAL IT!” Following this vision has taken us from modest beginnings to having built numerous orphanages and helped alleviate the misery of many both young and old here in America and in India, Cambodia, Moldova, Romania and Uganda!

Over the years, our attention has been increasingly drawn to the tragic escalation of the world-wide child sex trafficking trade, recently eclipsing the international drug trade to become the #1 profitable criminal enterprise world-wide! Following our passionate commitment “to provide a Christ-honoring solution to every urgent need” we have embarked on a mission to create a sanctuary for children who have been rescued from the unspeakable cruelty and degradation of the international sex trade.

Child Education

At PEACE of HEAVEN Children’s Paradise [PoH] we will strive to honor the exquisite and unique design of God in the life of each child. We will NOT follow the “Lock Step” rote learning style that has rendered western education such a dismal failure (ranking 12th in the 2024 world standings of developed nations, while at the same time requiring more money per student than any other country). As an alternative to this inefficient western model, we will look for creative “life based” educational modalities integrated into arts and life sciences that will provide a learning model that celebrates the individuality and personal distinctives of each student and brings out their God-given gifts and talents. Success for the students in Peace of Heaven Academy will not be based on completing traditional scope and sequence of western education norms, but on cultivating their natural (God-given) interests and talents to their fullest potential – preparing each student to offer to the world an expression of their vital essence, rather than just a diploma for “classes completed” while in school. While we will provide a solid foundation in reading, writing, arithmetic and the basics of a well-balanced education, we will NOT seek to force each student through the same educational “sausage grinder” created for “the average” student. Instead, we will hold as our highest priority an education that cultivates each child’s uniqueness and prepares them to be the highest and best expression of their Creator’s perfect plan for their lives!

Art & MUSIC

Unlike most systems of western education, we refuse to subjugate art and music to an inferior station in our educational processes and will bring in professional artisans and musicians to teach a wide variety artistic and musical expressions. We will seek to incorporate both art and music into all subjects taught at PEACE of HEAVEN Children’s Paradise [PoH] and will offer both individual and small group mentoring for music (vocal and instrumental), sundry expressions of art, dance, drama & theatre and a wide variety of crafts. We are excited to restore art to it rightful place as a “divine expression” and believe in the potential of music to release both creative and healing powers that were appreciated and celebrated in ancient history and are waiting to be recognized and released again in our day!

Technical Training

As with Arts and Music, all technical training will be viewed as PRIMARY EDUCATION rather than an elective of lesser value. Young men and women who have been trained BY PROFESSIONALS and given on-the-job training will be ready and able to step immediately from PEACE OF HEAVEN into well-paying jobs in the marketplace, rather than standing in line with traditional students who have only a high-school diploma, but no ACTUAL skills that commend them to meaningful employment. We will focus on “cutting edge” technologies of medical lasers, computer science and IT work, as well as the exploration of ancient technologies of light and vibration now being “revisited” through new lenses. Wherever we find a “spark of interest” we will recruit the brightest and the best to come FAN THE FLAMES of interest in the minds of the students! Uninhibited by “lock step” protocols and endless (and mindless) bureaucracy for public education, we will be able to recognize and cater to the true interests and aptitudes of each of the children to explore for themselves!

Animal Husbandry

Animal husbandry – as is true with agriculture – is one of man’s original God-given responsibilities. At PEACE OF HEAVEN we will care for as many “pets” as possible RIGHT ON SIGHT to restore the simple joy of “childhood” to kids which have been so terribly deprived! We are planning to raise ducks and chickens to harvest eggs and have “emotional care” dogs for the children to love and care for. As many “pet features” as possible will be planned, to incorporate aquariums, aviaries and as many forms of humane animal care programs as we possibly can. We also have partnerships in place for equine therapy programs, and for raising both goats and black angus steers for selling and for processing for meat. The kids who are interested will be able to learn from experts how to groom pastures, seed and harvest hay, oversee the birth of goat kids and calves, inspect for sickness, doctor the sick, and oversee the entire process of both small and large animal husbandry!

Agriculture

Mankind’s original divine mandate was to cultivate the creative powers of the earth and the seed! God - in His infinite wisdom - ordained that infinite productivity would be encapsulated in every seed, that the earth, sunshine and rain would combine to release that infinite harvest, and that MANKIND would be given stewardship over the entire process, to “cultivate the earth, and to make it fruitful!” (Genesis 2:15 “The LORD God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to cultivate its fruitfulness and watch over it.”). We want this original divine mandate to be an integral part of our Children’s Paradise and will have various kinds of fruit and nut trees, vegetables and flowers for the children to plant, cultivate and harvest. In a world increasingly concerned with “food sovereignty” we will be planning to grow and harvest much of what we eat from our own “Paradise Gardens” on site at Peace of Heaven. We will maintain our own “Crop Box” to grow micro greens, and have partnered with The Church of Glad Tidings’ Embassy Greens, Embassy Gardens, and Embassy Market to assist us in its professional use. We have arranged for some of the world’s most renowned growing experts to oversee our agriculture program and will allow the students to “do it all” from soil care to harvesting and marketing the produce!

Peace of Heaven

We will be transforming it from a prison to a paradise of beauty, love and healing where former sex slaves of international pedophiliacs are rescued, protected and provided for in a safe and loving “heaven on earth” environment. We are calling it Peace of Heaven Children’s Paradise!
